About SSBC

Our story

South Shore Baseball Club

Since 1989, the South Shore Baseball Club has impacted the lives of many young ballplayers with a strong philosophy of having fun while learning to play the great games of baseball and softball.

President Frank Niles’ experienced coaching staff offers fundamental instruction for novices through specialized training for the most experienced players.

The South Shore Baseball Club has operated out of the South Shore Sports Center in Hingham since 1989. In late June, the building was destroyed by fire. As a result, the SSBC will operate out of a variety of local facilities.

Memberships (full year and six month) are very popular at SSBC. In addition to many other benefits, members can reserve cage time and bat at no additional cost. See our Memberships page for a full array of membership options and privileges.
